What software would let me monitor all the devices on my internet network?

I want it to provide information such as the name of the device and how long it has been connected to the network, any software that does that? Oh, and I have Norton which shows the network security map, but it doesn't give much detail.What software would let me monitor all the devices on my internet network?I don't know too many software of that type but you could try "Cisco Network Magic" but that's a 7 day trial.
