That is not possible unless you have the original song, and you have the acapella version of the song (you need the acapella to cancel out the vocals in the original track). You cant just take vocals out of a track without it, so there is no program that does that. The way we do it is we invert one track, which cancels out the vocals of the other track when played together. It doesnt actually take the vocals off the track, it just creates a whole new track without the vocals. Once something is recorded to something, its permanent unless you're the one that recorded it there and can undo your edit. Acapellas are released by the studios where they were originally recorded, and the same can be said about instrumentals (beats) without vocals. Its possible to make acapellas, but you need the original and the instrumental track...just like you need the acapella and the original to make an instrumental track.

The most common software that majority of studios have is Pro Tools. I have Pro Tools (digi 002) and I have FL Studio. FL Studio is extremely cheap, and its not used by as many professionals as Pro Tools, but in my experience it's just as good when it comes to composing. But when it comes to recording, Pro Tools is still king. Now when it comes to mashing certain songs together, most pros use Pro Tools with a program called Reason. Some use other programs like Nuendo. I use Acid Pro for this or Audacity (free program).
